What is the Difference Between CBD and hemp Seed Oil?

Hemp seed and CBD cream are simply not the same thing. But, does that mean they are also not beneficial? Let’s find out.

Hemp Seed and CBD Oil are really not different products at all. CBD oil utilizes the entire stems, leaves, and even flowers of the cannabis plant in its manufacture. These contain an increased level of CBD, a substance with many possible health benefits to those who take it. While, hemp seed oil only comes from the hemp seeds, which are not edible. However, these may be used as a topical application, or oil can be taken in capsules or oil tinctures.

For example, this amazing oil has been proven to reduce pain and anxiety, reduce depression, improve sleep, as well as treating a wide range of other ailments. How is this possible you may ask? CBD is one of the most powerful naturally occurring anti-inflammatories known to man. It decreases the inflammation of both the lungs and joints by suppressing chemicals in your body that cause these conditions to flare up. For those who suffer from chronic back pain, headaches, joint pain, arthritis, muscle spasms, or other ailments, taking some hemp seeds each day may help to alleviate some or all of these symptoms.

The next difference between hemp oil and CBD is that hemp oil is completely natural. While the cannabis plant is cultivated for both its medicinal and recreational purposes, it is grown primarily for the resin, which contains the medical and health benefits of marijuana. This is why you have heard so many cheers from onlookers when ingesting cannabis. Hemp is a close relative, but it grows better, longer, and produces a higher quality product. In fact, it is much harder to grow than cannabis.

hemp is also grown to contain less of what’s known as THC, or tetrahydrocannabinoid. There is believed to be approximately two hundred thousand different strains of cannabis, and over two hundred different strains of endocannabinoid. In addition, there are two thousand different variations of THC, including eleven different variations that have been linked to schizophrenia and psychosis, eleven that have been known to cause memory loss, and sixteen that have been known to cause an increase in heart rate. The potential health benefits of CBD may be solely derived from the lack of THC. While CBD may not cause the same side effects of THC, it does not contain the same psychoactive properties, or what are called CBD mimics.

Many scientific studies show that CBD has very similar characteristics to some of the more popular pharmaceutical medications on the market today, including aspirin and ibuprofen. The most notable difference between hemp seeds and CBD is that CBD does not contain the harmful carcinogenic agents that are contained in cannabis. While marijuana contains THC, CBD does not. While CBD and hemp seeds are similar in some ways, there are also some key differences. Let’s take a closer look at each one to see if there are any similarities that might be able to help with the treatment of diseases like Alzheimer’s, and other degenerative brain disorders.

Hemp seeds contain a variety of key nutrients that are needed for overall brain health. Two of those nutrients are L-glutamine and gamma linolenic acid (GLA), which are both essential to keeping the brain healthy. Another nutrient, fish oil, is also found in some CBD products. Omega-3 fatty acids are found in the oil known as evening primrose oil. These are just two of the nutrients found in CBD.

So what is the difference between CBD and hemp seed oil? hemp seed oil has been shown to have anti-inflammatory activity. When administered directly to the skin, it has been shown to reduce redness and inflammation associated with arthritis and other joint problems. It has been used in anti-aging skincare products and cosmetic creams because it is an effective source of natural antioxidants. And it is one of the ingredients found in effective forms of vitamin A.
