I’ve been using it for over a week now, and let me tell you — it’s been a bit of a ride. Some days I’m convinced it’s a steal, other days I wish Oppo had gone just a little further.
A Premium Look That Turns Heads
Oppo has always been good at design, but with the Reno 13 Pro, they’ve turned the dial to max. The 6.8-inch curved AMOLED display melts into the frame with such finesse, you’d think it belonged on a premium flagship. Bezels? Almost invisible.
The back has a matte, silk-like finish that’s soft to the touch and, thankfully, resists fingerprints. The camera module is bold and different — an oval-shaped island that reminds me of Oppo’s more expensive Find X series. This is a phone that will get noticed.
Display: Bright, Smooth, and a Visual Treat
Oppo’s given this phone a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and honestly, it’s gorgeous. Colours are rich, blacks are deep, and it’s bright enough to use comfortably under the sun.
HDR content pops — I rewatched a couple of episodes of Dark on Netflix, and the contrast impressed me. Haptic feedback is crisp, too. It’s not quite Galaxy S24 Ultra level, but definitely above most mid-rangers.
Performance: Strong, But Not a Snapdragon
The 12GB RAM (LPDDR5) and massive 512GB UFS 3.1 storage give this phone plenty of muscle. But here’s the twist — it’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+.
Don’t roll your eyes just yet. This isn’t the budget MediaTek from years ago. Performance is smooth — apps open instantly, multitasking is effortless, and gaming is solid. I played COD Mobile and Genshin Impact on high settings without major hiccups.
That said, in the ₹43–47K price range, it’s going up against Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones, and that’s a tough battle in raw power.

However, if you’re a heavy gamer or want flagship extras like IP68 water resistance and wireless charging, there are stronger options in this price bracket.
Bottom line: The Reno 13 Pro is like that impeccably dressed guest at a party — stylish, confident, and impressive… but not quite as loaded as they seem.
